PADI ADVANCED OPEN WATER COURSE

The PADI Advanced Open Water course is one of the most popular courses newly qualified divers go on to do. “Advanced” doesn’t mean ‘difficult’ it simply means advancing diving skills and knowledge. During the Advanced Open Water course, through a variety of Adventure Dives, divers build their confidence and improve their diving skills.

The course is 5 Adventure Dives completed over 2-3 days, each consisting of a small amount of theoretical study. 2 dives of the course are pre-selected by PADI; Deep and Underwater Navigation, however, students have the flexibility of choosing the 3 other adventure dives, the most popular being; Drift, Boat, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Night and Fish Identification. Students have the opportunity to save studying time whilst in the Resort by registering for and completing the theoretical work online with PADI prior to arrival.

PADI SPECIALITY COURSES

There is a short course or program for almost anything anyone can think of to do underwater. And if there isn’t one, it is possible to make one! There are currently over 30 different Specialty Courses available, however, divers should choose wisely as some are hard-pushed to complete here in the Red Sea such as ‘Ice Diver’ and ‘Altitude Diver’!

Between our highly qualified team of instructors we are able to offer most specialities, but for any divers who have a particular speciality in mind, it is always wise to drop us an email to be sure we offer that speciality.

RECREATIONAL DIVING

There are 76 recognized diving sites within daily boat distance of Sharm El Sheikh. A good collection of these is to be found within a few minutes by RIB (rigid inflatable boat) from the Four Seasons Resort’s private jetty, offering diving conditions for a wide range of abilities.

Thanks to the 1200+ different species of marine life, the Red Sea is recognized as one of the leading diving destinations of the world. Sinai Blues divers can enjoy, reef systems, coral gardens, wall diving, drift diving, night diving, wreck diving or just pottering around the shallows on our Resort’s charming house reef.

Water temperatures rarely drop below 22C in the winter and rise to 30C in the summer making Sharm El Sheikh a year-round diving destination.

What Makes Sinai Blues Different?
5/5

We are very proud of the fact that we offer an unrivaled diving service in Sharm El Sheikh largely due to our fleet of luxury boats, facilities, and handpicked crew which allow us to offer a convenient, efficient, and tailormade, unique diving experience. At Sinai Blues, everything is taken care of.

Freshly rinsed wetsuits are laid out on the briefing table along with a diving computer, whilst your scuba unit has already been set up on a fresh tank and loaded on the RIB along with weights. Following the briefing, it’s a wetsuit and life jacket on with the assistance of the dive center crew, leaving just the mask, fins and boots to be collected from the jetty prior to boarding the RIB.

The boat crew is on hand to assist with kitting up as well as helping divers in and out of the water. After the dive, fresh towels and a bottle of mineral water are offered for the journey back. The disassembling and rinsing of your kit are all taken care of between dives as well as a full kit wash and equipment pack after the last dive. Our RIBs move directly from our private jetty three times a day for a one-tank dive, either in the Northern Reefs of Sharm or the Straits of Tiran, a round trip of 2hrs, offering complete flexibility, allowing our guests to enjoy the facilities of the Resort or time with their family or friends between their dives.

Our twin-engine RIBs take our divers to either Ras Mohamed National Park or SS Thistlegorm for 2 dives and have them back in the Resort in time for lunch. Spending the day on the sea on a big daily diving boat with family or friends is a well-established pastime in Sharm which is why we also offer all these destinations by luxury daily boats as well as by RIBs. Our diver-to-dive guide ratio does not exceed 6:1. Sinai Blues has access to dive sites that no other dive centers do, so unless you have dived with us before, we will be able to take you to new dive sites that you have never done before!
