Daily Diving |
|
Sinai Blues has hand picked our diving instructors to create the most knowledgeable and experienced dive team in the Red Sea. With between 2000 and 10,000 dives in the local area each, there is no one better to guide you on your exploration of our incredible reefs.
Your first dive with us will be either a refresher dive (if you have not dived for six months or more) or a house reef dive (if you have dived within the last six months). If you have not dived for 2 years or more, we strongly recommend a Scuba Review to get you really comfortable in the water again.
For your information –

Maximum allowed depth for recreational diving in the Red sea is 30m.
-
You must leave 24 hours after diving before flying or travelling to altitude (such as an excursion to St. Catherine's Monestary).

We have a maximum of 6 divers to an instructor and if joining a group we will endevour to place you with others of a similar experience level. On arriving at the dive site you’ll be helped in to your equipment, and then it’s a simple roll back before you find yourself beneath the surface and amoungst the fish. Upon surfacing you’ll quickly be helped out of your kit, and before you know it you’re back at the resort to soak up the Four Seasons luxery for a few hours before your next dive.

The Straits of Tiran |
 |
The Straits of Tiran lies at the mouth of the Gulf of Aqaba bound by the Sinai Penninsula to the west and the island of Tiran to the east. At its centre lies four reefs which soar to the surface from depths of over 1000m. Named after the 19th century English cartographers who drew the first nautical map of the region, Jackson, Woodhouse, Thomas and Gordon reefs are now some of the most famous dive sites in the world and are only 10 minutes away by RIB. Very strong currents bring a great abundance of nutirents to the reefs creating magical coral gardens, but also mean that these sites are suitable for experienced divers only.
Duration - 2 to 2.5 hours.
Minimum 3 divers required.

Ras Mohammed |
The Ras Mohammed National Park is one of the worlds most famous diving spots, with serveral of its dive sites consistantly being ranked in the top 10 dive sites on earth. Created in 1983 , Ras Mohammed has been used as a model National Park across the world. A combination of strong currents, incredible drop offs and mangroves that act as a 'fish nursery' have resulted in an unparalled abundance and diversity of both fish and corals. A place of beauty for most of the year, the park takes a dramatic turn come the summer time. Pelagic species arrive in their thousands and begin to school at the very tip of Sinai where the Gulf of Suez, the Gulf of Aquaba and the Red Sea meet. Swirling currents attract immense schools of barrracuda, twin spot snapper, unicorn surgeon fish, jack fish, batfish, trevaillys and Emperors. Imagine yourself suspended in a solid cylinder of swirling barracuda 20 metres high, or being completely surrounded by a vast sphere of huge snapper gently parting before you. Along with the schools come the sharks, and during the summer period you may be lucky enough to have a close encounter with a blacktip, silvertip, grey reef, silky, sandbar or tiger shark. Strong up and down currents, challenging 'into the blue' swims and difficult surface conditions make Ras Mohammed National Park a destination suitable for experienced divers only.
Sinai Blues visits Ras Mohammed on either Virginia or Waver approximately twice a week. It is a 1.5 hour cruise to reach the park where you'll do two exhilerating dives. Sunbathe and relax on board as our diligent boat crews pamper you for the day, serving soft drinks, snacks and a delicious lunch. During the summer months we may offer an optional third dive at Ras Umm Sidd or Far Garden on the way home.
Duration – 8 hours approx.
Minimum 6 guests.
The Island of Tiran

Ten kilometres across the Gulf of Aqaba from the Four Seasons, lies the dramatic and beautiful island of Tiran. Its' stark peaks are an incredible spectacle at sunset as they slowly change colour from firey red, to deep pink, purple and finally blue. Though appearing barren at first glance, the island is actually an international bird reserve with large populations of the rare white eyed gull, sooty falcons and ospreys. Sinai Blues is one of a handful of operators to have special permission to visit Tiran and a half day trip to it's southern shore is our most popular snorkelling and diving excursion. From our private jetty it is an hour cruise to reach Tiran where we moor in a secluded, sheltered bay where the sea is always glassy calm. From here both snorkellers and divers can enjoy pristine, untouched coral reefs and a dazzling abundance of fish and other marine life. With no currents a perfect sea conditions, the island of Tiran is the perfect destination for snorkellers and divers of all ages and abilities.
Duration – 4 hours approx.
Minimum 6 guests.
